Sexual Violence Risk Assessment Workshop – Toronto, Ontario
The Sexual Violence Risk Assessment Workshop will teach participants skills related to assessing and managing risk for sexual violence using the Risk for Sexual Violence Protocol (RSVP). The RSVP is a structured professional judgement tool that is supported by research, practice and the law.
This workshop is particularly relevant for those working in higher education given the prevalent and serious nature of sexual violence on campus settings, the complexity of these setting and the unique challenges they face, and the introduction of Bill 132, an Act to amend various statutes with respect to sexual violence.
This workshop is also relevant to professionals from all sectors interested in assessing and managing sexual violence risk including criminal justice, security, victim services, health care, social services, and human resources.
